Hi Gretio users,
The next major version of Gretio of iOS and Android will be discontinuing support for anonymous accounts (signing into the app without a Google, Apple, or User/Pass).
Google is no longer allowing users to restore purchases. It is unclear why, and we have gotten absolutely 0 communication from Google about this change.
To ensure our our users have reliable uninterrupted access to Gretio we are forced to 100% track purchases on our end, and this means ensuring all purchases are attached to a real Gretio account. Thankfully we are already setup to do this, but this means we can no longer have anonymous accounts (otherwise you would lose your purchases!).
What should I do now?
If you have a Gretio purchase attached to an anonymous account simply sign in with a Google or Apple account, or create a user with a user/pass. Then verify your purchases transferred.
What if I lose my Gretio Purchases?
We are working on an automated way to restore them, but it will be through here at the Surreal Dev website. Stay tuned.
