Surreal Development is a limited liability company founded in 2016 in South Dakota and based in Seattle, Washington.
In 2019 Gretio was released. Gretio is the only DIY accessible professional tool available for GM vehicles. Gretio saves its users money by giving them the tools needed to fix their vehicles. We strongly believe in right to repair and a sustainable future for used vehicles.
If the average user avoids 1 dealer service regen then Gretio has kept over $2,400,000 in consumer pockets as of 2026, and this number only goes up every day.
About Snipesy
I originally started a company once known as Surreal Performance which reverse engineered vehicles to perform tuning. Surreal Performance created the popular E47 Cax file. This eventually led to an app known as BiScan for GM, and the eventual Gretio project which I worked on while pursuing a B.S. in both Biochemistry and Computer Science (an interesting combination I know). Gretio is the only DIY accessible scan tool for GM vehicles and required world first techniques in reverse engineering, dynamic analysis, and software quality.
After graduation I spent some time consulting on various projects (apps, GRC, security auditing, etc…). I then spent 3 years leading the primary incidence team for the Google Play Store and Google Play Protect. Well it was more like I joined and then ended up taking over after like 4 months. While there I took down millions of malicious applications (millions is not a typo).
I now lead a team tackling problems in healthcare with Artificial Intelligence.
My main motto is if you are the smartest person in the room, you are probably in the wrong room. I am constantly improving myself and my favorite activity is accomplishing what many call “impossible”.
